The Fireguard FGP1 1kg Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguisher is a compact and reliable unit equipped with a pressure gauge for easy status monitoring. It is designed to operate efficiently within a wide temperature range of -30°C to +60°C, making it suitable for use in low-temperature environments. The extinguisher features a 140mm diameter, deep-drawn mild steel cylinder manufactured with MIG welding and externally coated with durable polyester resin in signal red (RAL 3000) for corrosion protection and high visibility. It is certified in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EC). Each unit undergoes 100% electronic helium leak detection testing to ensure safety and quality. The extinguisher is lever-operated with a nickel-plated brass valve body, and all external components are corrosion-resistant. Nitrogen is used as the propellant gas, with a small percentage of helium added to facilitate leak detection. All internal parts in contact with the extinguishing agent are fully compatible. The unit includes a reinforced rubber hose with pressure connections and nozzle for effective discharge. A zinc-plated mild steel wall bracket suitable for vertical mounting is supplied, with an optional transport bracket available upon request.
